Nicaragua’s Masaya Volcano National Park

Share:

Masaya Volcano National Park is located 20 kilometers north of the city of Granada. It is a volcanic complex where you can see one of the most active volcanoes in Nicaragua and inactive craters as well. Its slopes and rocky plains are signs of devastating eruptions in past centuries.

The view from the top is wonderful; its active crater is impressive with a permanent gassing. Its soil is rather sterile and has created a landscape of different colors in the tropical dry forest of the national park. Do not miss a visit to Masaya volcano on your next stay with us at Jicaro Island Eco Lodge.

In view of the majestic Mombacho Volcano near the Granada Isletas, Jicaro caters to honeymooners with exceptional food and relaxing spa services.
