Where can I go from Jicaro?


Jicaro Eco Lodge can be a handful of fun on its own and you might need a few days just to take it all in. However, if you are looking to make Jicaro an important part of a larger vacation we are happy to give you a few suggestions of other places you can visit that are close by  and are easy to get to.



The colonial City of Granada offers you a true local experience, you can stroll along its quiet streets and grab a bite in one of the local restaurants or visit its many historicla buildings and museums. Granada is an adventure on itself and brings you the best of cultural tourism.


The capital of Nicaragua can be a great place to pass a few days and learn a great deal about the country and its history. People are friendly and hotel rates are very accessible. You can travel to Managua by car or bus.

Costa Rica


Our next door neighbor can be a great addition to your Central American vacation. Costa Rica offers gorgeous beaches and forests plus a friendly population. It is very easy to get back and forth between Costa Rica and Nicaragua, either by land or Air.

Nature Air, a domestic Costa Rican Airline offers flights between San Jose, Liberia (CR) and Managua 4 times a week. For more details and rates, consult www.natureair.com. Mexico/South America

You can fly to Mexico or South America from San Jose or Managua. Both regions have a lot to offer if you wish to stop there before or after your time at Jicaro.
